UPDATE 3/19:
I had the chance to go back today and had a truly wonderful experience. The owner offered a very sincere apology and even gave me a treat to take on my flight, which I really appreciated. I’m so glad I was able to try the food before leaving, as everything people have said about it is spot on. While I may not be back in Ruston anytime soon, I would absolutely return. I really appreciate the effort to make things right, can’t thank you enough!

I was visiting from out of state and was really looking forward to trying their breakfast. I arrived around 10:20 and walked up to the window. The employee opened it, said “we’re not selling breakfast,” and immediately slammed the window shut before I even had a chance to respond or ask a question. I completely understand if breakfast had already ended, but the way the interaction was handled felt extremely rude and dismissive. It was very disappointing, even people around who saw were confused and apologized to us. Honestly, it was pretty disgusting, and felt very targeted with their approach.

The burger I got was the smith family one, it was absolutely delicious and the patty itself was grilled beautifully. It actually filled me up. The sweet potato fries are a little salty but still good 😊

Husband and I came for the first time this morning and we were not disappointed! He got the sausage biscuit and I got the spicy honey hash with a plain biscuit and OMG delicious. Absolutely the best biscuits, and you can tell they’re homemade. Very kind people, very delicious food. Can’t wait to come back!

Had wonderful spicy goat cheese burger and (i believe) homemade sweet potato fries. Breakfast menu looked good. Gotta get here early one day. Talked to 1 customer who came for breakfast and came back for lunch.

Literally the BEST pancakes I’ve had in my entire life. The owners are THE KINDEST people and I just love this place. If your e passing through Ruston during breakfast or lunch time, please make the drive into town instead of stopping at the fast food spots along the interstate. You will be so happy you did!
